Fire razes residential area in Las Piñas

MANILA, Philippines—A fire that razed a residential area in Las Piñas City Wednesday afternoon has reached second alarm, a fire officer told INQUIRER.net.

Fire Officer 2 Pereira, who requested to leave out his first name, said that fire broke out in a residential area at Gladiola corner Sampaguita Sts. in T.S. Cruz Subdivision, Barangay (village) Almanza Dos in Las Piñas City at around 3:07 p.m. and reached second alarm by 3:24 p.m.

Pereira could not provide information about the cause of the fire but estimated that around five fire trucks have been deployed in the area.
