ITCZ to bring rain in Mindanao, Palawan, E. Visayas—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — An intertropical convergence zone in Mindanao will bring rains in Palawan,Easterm Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in these areas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomic Services Administration said.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the western section.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the east to northeast over Mindanao, Pagasa said.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, it added. Frances Mangosing
