AT LEAST P100,000 cash was stolen when unidentified thieves ransacked the office of a financing company in barangay Zapatera, Cebu City.
Police said at least three persons burgled the office of Asialink Finance Corp. based on the fingerprints and muddy footprints found in the office.
PO3 Mark Betonio said the thieves entered the office through a hole where an air-conditioning unit was installed.
Police said the thieves used a ladder to climb the wall and remove the air-conditioning unit.
The thieves took two laptops and two cellphones on the second floor of the office then went to the first floor and destroyed a vault where P100,000 cash was kept.
A laptop, a netbook and four cellphones were also missing from the first floor.
Police said neighbors heard unusual noise coming from the ceiling of the office around 10 p.m. Monday.
