Learn what you need to know to start and succeed in the beauty salon business, one of the rapidly growing industries today.
The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program will conduct a one-day seminar on hair science and beauty culture, with nail art design, on June 1, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the mezzanine, Rooms 14 and 15, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
The seminar will include actual demonstration and hands-on activities on basic haircuts.
Participants will learn proper hair sectioning, draping, perming, application of color through dye or henna wax, highlights, rebonding, hair and scalp treatment through cellophane or natural procedure and basic styling for different occasions.
They will learn the proper and latest strategies on makeup contouring and the significance of makeup brushes, and play with various colors for eye shadows.
They will also learn creative manicure and pedicure designs with the use of acrylic paints, stones, nail ornaments and other materials.
Participants will receive certificates of training after the seminar. Lunch and snacks will be served. Handouts and all materials will be provided.
