Stalled vehicle snarls EDSA traffic

MANILA, Philippines – A stalled vehicle snarled traffic along EDSA Monday morning, the Manila Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

Banjo Petisanan of MMDA-Metrobase told INQUIRER.net that the heavy traffic was caused by a private vehicle which overheated along the northbound lane of EDSA-Boni Avenue at around 8:05 a.m.

In a post over social networking site Twitter, the MMDA said that a car was burning at the area but Petisanan clarified that there had been no fire.

“The vehicle just overheated,” he said.
