UNA snaps back at Drilon’s call to concede
MANILA, Philippines—”Mind your own business. You don’t have a right to tell UNA (United Nationalist Alliance) what do to.”
This was how UNA campaign manager Toby Tiangco returned fire on Senator Franklin Drilon’s call for the opposition to concede the midterm elections victory to Team PNoy.
“What is he so scared about? I used to just read these stories about the 60-30-10 pattern but now Senator Drilon’s comment makes me want to look into this,” he told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview.
“If he wants people to stop talking about it then it puts doubt into things all the more. His reaction makes me want to look into it more seriously because there is malice,” said the UNA official.
Drilon urged UNA to concede victory to Team PNoy to dispel rumors of cheating in the midterm elections, particularly the supposed pattern of certificates of canvass being split 60 percent for Team PNoy, 30 percent to UNA and 10 percent to other candidates.

“If I were him I would ask these people to come forward with information and for the Comelec to investigate,” he said.
