THE Cris Ang-led YLAC backed by Pacific Land Ventures snared the solo lead after bashing Dissenters of Commissioner Jonas Asis for its 5th win in six games in the IBP-10th Season basketball tournament at the Capitol Parish gym.
YLAC led from start to finish for the 12-point demolition with Resty Arnaiz and Benjo Santiago scoring 23 and 18 points, respectively. Former UC Webmaster Kenneth Kern Sesante and Giovanni Sususco led Dissenters with 22 and 17, respectively for a 2-3 record.
Earlier, defending champion Pañeros blasted winless Primos, 75-55, for a 3-3 card with Rowell Juban and Ryan Sojor scoring 24 and 22 points, respectively. Allan Geotina paced Primos with 20 markers spiked by six trifectas.
In the other game, the Titans routed undermanned Eagles, 94-64, for its 3rd win in six games.
Bads Del Prado exploded with a game-high 27 points spiked by six trifectas for Lex Titans, while Alvin Canta and Al Lagahit paced the Eagles with 23 and 17, respectively.
In the mainer, former grand slam winner Super Idols of Bong Pepito crushed the Pecandela Law Firm, 74-63, for a 3-3 card while the latter dropped to 2-4.
William Mañus and Fermin Pepito led Super Idols with scored 15 and 12 points while Jessie Capoy and Francis Pepito paced Pecandela with 25 and 13.
