Security agency loses P120,000 to burglars
Maybe they should have guarded their “house” more closely.
Burglars broke into the office of a security agency in Grace Park, Caloocan City, and took more than P120,000 in cash and valuables.
The robbery at DSAVCI Security Agency Inc., which is located at the Augusto Building on Rizal Avenue Extension, was discovered by its operations officer, Asuncion Antonio Jr., when he reported for work at 6 a.m. on Monday.
He told the police that when he got to the office, he found that someone had smashed the glass doors while the guards supposed to be stationed there were nowhere to be found.
An inventory showed that the thieves stole P120,000 in payroll money. Also missing were a .38-cal. pistol used as a service firearm and two computer sets.
The police said they were still trying to determine the identity of the burglars.—With Marc Joseph Alejo
