Only 36.21 percent of 301 COCs counted

MANILA, Philippines—The Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) has canvassed only a total of 109 certificates of canvass (COC) or 36.21 percent of the total 301 COCs.
NBOC is looking forward to proclaiming the remaining winning senators whether partial or full either Friday or over the weekend.
In its latest tally Friday at 3 p.m., the candidates in the winning circle are the following:
1. Grace Poe – 16,260,239
2. Loren Legarda – 14,922,018

The top six candidates – Poe, Legarda, Cayetano, Escudero, Binay and Angara – were proclaimed by NBOC Thursday evening.
