PH-Taiwan row affects Cebu manpower agency
A manpower recruitment firm in Cebu has stopped processing the deployment of workers for Taiwan.
According to Alma Cutamora, Recruitment Officer of MIP International Manpower Services, they held off processing documents of 21 applicants.
Taiwan has ordered a freeze on hiring Filipino workers after they rejected the apology sent by the Philippines through an emissary of the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (Meco) Antonio Basilio.
