PILI, Camarines Sur—With 71,330 votes lead and two towns not included in the total canvass, Leni Robredo was proclaimed winner at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday as 3rd District Representative of Camarines Sur, beating opponent Nelly Favis-Villafuerte, who got 31,364 votes.

Lawyer Aireen Pasa, Robredo’s counsel, asked the provincial board of canvassers (PBOC) to go on with the proclamation even without the tallies from the towns of Calabanga and Bombon with total voters of 41,382 and 9,381, respectively.

The two towns left out of the group canvass report generated from the PCOS machine will not suffice to make difference in the overall winning of Leni.
