Man shot while having pedicure

A 56-year-old man was shot dead by a n unidentified perpetrator at 11 a.m. yesterday inside a beauty parlor in Zone Camote, barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City.

Wilfredo Brogola Jordan, who is into scrap-buying and a resident of Purok Tambis in barangay Umapad was killed by unidentified person while having a pedicure in the Almas Beauty Parlor.

Initial investigation revealed that prior to the shooting, the unidentified perpetrator who rode a motorcycle was looking for the victim in his junk shop.

He proceeded to the beauty parlor when told by a junk shop attendant that he was there.

Man commits suicide over medical bills

A 38-year-old man was believed to have committed suicide inside their home on Cinco Road, barangay Maguikay, Mandaue City last Monday.

Miguel Candar was found hanging in a beam of their rented house by his daughter at 7:30 p.m. last Monday.
