4 CoCs, 2 ballot boxes from India, Myanmar for tally arrive at NBOC

MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), has received four certificates of canvass (CoC) out of 301 Tuesday.

Guimaras province and Paranaque city were the first to transmit their CoCs, followed shortly by Mandaluyong city.

The fourth was Romblon, which transmitted its CoCs at 1:07 p.m. Romblon has 174,000 registered voters.

Meanwhile, two ballot boxes of the overseas absentee voters (OAVs) from New Delhi, India and Yangoon, Myanmar were also received by the NBOC and opened shortly past 2 p.m.

The Comelec went on a break as they have decided to tally results after every five CoCs.
