Villagers in Agusan del Sur cast their vote

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur—An hour after voting precincts opened in the village  of Patin-ay here, at least five percent of the registered voters have cast their votes, according to Board of Election Inspector Luzviminda Baron.

As of posting time, voters queued and waiting for their turn to cast their ballot in the country’s second automated polls.

The situation here was generally peaceful.

No candidates could be seen within the 30-meter area from the polling precincts where they are banned.
