Rock the Vote Cebu

Despite the rain, almost 2,000 people watched the Rock the Vote concert’s grand finale at Fuente Osmeña Circle the other night.

Celebrities like Sharon Cuneta and Ogie Alcasid teamed up with artists and bands including Noel Cabangone Cooky Chua, Noel Cabangon, Jim Paredes of Apo Hiking Society, Chokolete, Sugarfree, Parokya ni Edgar.

The concert series is a call for citizens to exercise their right to vote and choose leaders who will bring about positive change.

“We need to choose the candidates who will prioritize the citizens instead of his or her pocket,“ said Sen. Francis Pangilinan who later sang a duet with his megastar wife Sharon.

Risa Hontiveros who is running for senator under Team Pinoy appeared on stage with comedian Chokolete who impersonated her.
