Ngo wins Cetba’s Bowler of Month title for April

BETH Ngo outgunned veteran male counterparts in last April 27’s “Bowler of the Month” tournament of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.

Ngo finished with a total of 1,193 pinfalls to be named the “Bowler of the Month” for April.

Billy Uybengkee trailed her at second place with 1,191 pinfalls. Uybengkee finished the competition with the “Bowler of the Month” for March title for finishing second. Alexander Lagcao wound up third place with 1,162.

A total of 26 bowlers competed in the monthly tournament, whose winners will qualify for the coveted “Bowler of the Year” tournament this December.

Meanwhile, the CETBA Friday Group Masters Event saw Fred Torrequemada coming away with the best bowler for April. Uybengkee took the March crown after finishing second.

In the ladies division, CETBA president Gretchen Tormis won the title for March while Ana Cabiasa won the April title. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
