12,000 marijuana plants destroyed in Davao del Sur

DIGOS CITY, Philippines—The authorities raided four marijuana plantations in Kiblawan, Davao del Sur, on Thursday and Friday but failed to catch owners, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, said.

Emerson Rosales, PDEA director for Southern Mindanao, said they managed to destroy some 12,000 fully grown marijuana plants during the raids in Sitio Cren.
