Drug suspect nabbed in Danao buy-bust

A PACK of suspected shabu worth at least P25,000 was seized when police arrested a man in a buy-bust operation in barangay Sabang, Danao City, northern Cebu.

Alberto “Al” Hermosilla was suspected to be a level two drug pusher who could sell at least 50 grams of shabu a week, said SPO1 Francis Alen Villamor of the Intelligence Branch of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO).

Villamor said Hermosilla was arrested after he sold a pack of suspected shabu worth P3,000 to a poseur-buyer at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Hermosilla was placed under surveillance before he was arrested, said Villamor.

Police said Hermosilla resisted arrest but was overpowered by the arresting team which later recovered a big pack believed to contain shabu from the suspect’s possession./Correspondent Joy Cherry S. Quito
