DSWD seeks kin of abandoned kids

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of the abandoned children.

A baby boy named Renante Generalao was found in a loading station along the sidewalk in R. Padilla Fatima Street, barangay Duljo, Fatima, Cebu City on Aug. 14, 2012 at 3 a.m. by Jimmy Generalao. The baby was around two weeks old when found.

Lady Jane Macahig was left by her mother identified as Lucy Acosta Macahig on March 13, 2011 at 9 p.m. after giving birth to her at the Margaritha Birthing Center in Cebu City. Lucy can no longer be contacted.

The DSWD is requesting the parents, relatives or friends of these minors to see social workers Annalisa Gubalane, Rosalina Tatoy and Clavel Saycon at the DSWD office on M.J. Cuenco Avenue, Cebu City or call 4167516 or 4167646.

Failure of the parties to appear within one month will subject the children for abandonment.
