Two indies, a Team Pinoy bet complete Team Rama’s senate list

Rival BOPK to go 12-0 for administration bets

Two independent  and one Liberal Party bets complete the list of 12 senatorial bets that  Team Rama is supporting in the May 13 polls.

Mayor Michael Rama said his group is adopting LP candidate Alan Peter Cayetano and independent candidates Bro. Eddie Villanueva and Edward Hagedorn since the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) only has nine senatorial candidates.

Rama said he will not commit to make all their supported candidates win in the May 13 elections in Cebu City “pero tan-awon lang nato ug kinsa ang maka-deliver [but we will see who can deliver] the votes for our national candidates.”

The Bando Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan (BOPK) group of Rep. Tomas Osmeña is endorsing all of the 12 Liberal Party/ Team Pinoy senatorial candidates.

Osmeña said they will especially be giving emphasis on Ramon Magsaysay Jr., Sonny Angara, Cynthia Villar and Chiz Escudero in their sample ballots because of the help they have given to the city.

Rama said the election will be a test as to who between him and Osmeña can deliver votes to the national candidates they are respectively supporting.

Rama said his group will be supporting Cayetano because of his medical assistance program which benefited city residents while he approved of Villanueva’s pro-life campaign.
