GUARD KILLS ‘INTRUDER’
A SECURITY guard fatally shot a man who intruded into an apartment he was guarding in barangay Zapatera, Cebu City early morning yesterday.
Andy Flores of Bisda Security Agency could no longer be located after the shooting.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was found slumped on the stairway with gunshot wounds in the chest and back.
One of the tenants told police that he heard bursts of gunfire past midnight.
The tenant went out of his room and saw the bloodied man.

TRIKE DRIVER STABS BROD’S ATTACKERS
A 20-YEAR-OLD trisikad driver stabbed two men in barangay Canduling, Ronda town, southern Cebu.
Police said the suspect, Jonald Pagao, came to his brother’s aide when he stabbed Robertly Perdiguez, 21, and John Paul Dorig, 22.
Police said Perdiguez and Dorig were drunk when they mauled Pagao’s brother in a benefit dance at dawn Saturday.
Pagao saw the beating, took a knife and stabbed his brother’s attackers, P01 Membrod Ogario of Ronda police said.
Perdiguez and Dorig were brought to the hospital with stab wounds in their abdomens.
