MANILA, Philippines–Joy Cortes Delos Reyes, the Editor-in-Chief of Malaya Business Insight, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013. He was 59.
His remains lie in state at his home town of Balete, Aklan, until Monday, May 6. He will be flown to Manila to be cremated and a wake will be held from Tuesday night, May 7, to Friday, May 10, at the University of the Philippines Chapel in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
His ashes will be interred on Saturday at the Columbary of Santo Niño de Cebu San
Agustin Seminary, Fisheries St. Visayas Ave., Quezon City alongside his wife, Leticia Montesclaros Subang-Delos Reyes.
He is survived by his Mother, Ida Feleciano Cortes-Delos Reyes, his siblings Gay,
Rex, Lito, Leo and Vanessa Cortes Delos Reyes and his children Antonio Isabelo, Aida Corazon, and Jose Socrates.
