BI personnel at all ports on alert for Mancao

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration has ordered its personnel at all ports to be on the lookout for Cezar Mancao II, who might flee the country following his escape from detention at the National Bureau of Investigation in Manila on Thursday morning.

Immigration commissioner Ricardo David Jr. issued the order on Thursday, according to BI spokesperson Ma. Antonette Mangrobang.

“Commissioner David issued a memo directing immigration personnel in all our ports to be on alert for the possible departure of Cezar Mancao and to immediately turn (him) over to the NBI when encountered,” Mangrobang said.

Mancao is one of the accused in the killing of publicist Bubby Dacer and his driver Emmanuel Corbito in 2000.
