Armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Fernando Sagun Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 78 in Quezon City, members of the police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force and the Cavite police raided Kangfu’s apartment in Meadowood Executive Village in Panapaan village 8 around 2 a.m.
The police recovered six plastic bags, each containing a kilo of shabu, and drug paraphernalia.
Bacoor City police chief Superintendent Ronaldo Mendoza said the haul was worth P30 million, based on a street value at P5 million per kilo.
He said the authorities were investigating possible links between the suspects and three Chinese drug convicts sprung from jail in Trece Martires City, Cavite, last February, as well as with the two other Chinese nationals held in an earlier raid in Pasay City from whom the authorities recovered P5 million worth of shabu.
