Armed men burn gasoline tanker in Cagayan town

Six armed men burned a gasoline tanker along the national highway in Allacapan town on Saturday night, police said.

Reports from the Tuguegarao city police said the tanker’s driver, Dante Adriatico, was on his way to the capital when men armed with rifles and pistol  flagged him down in Barangay (village) Iringan at past 10 p.m.

At gunpoint, the armed men asked Adriatico to alight and leave the area. Police said Adriatico saw the tanker engulfed in flames as he fled. Villamor Visaya Jr., Inquirer Northern Luzon
