MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected robbers were killed in Sampaloc, Manila before midnight Wednesday, police said Thursday.
Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., Philippine National Police spokesman, said that Sampaloc police shot it out with the riding-in-tandem suspects at the corner of Espana Boulevard and Algeciras Street in Sampaloc, Manila at. 11:35 p.m.
Police recovered a caliber .38 revolver with live ammunition, seven spent shells of a .9-millimeter pistol, and several other items.
