Police to put up reward for Bella Ruby’s arrest

The Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) will offer a cash reward to anyone who can give information that would lead to the arrest of Bella Ruby Santos.

A reward is sure to help surface Santos, said Senior Supt. Patrocinio Comendador Sr., Cebu province police chief.

Santos and her British partner Ian Charles Griffiths are suspects in the abducting and killing of 6-year-old Ellah Joy Pique.

Comendador said he would ask policemen and other donors to pitch in for the prize money, and will relay this to different towns and cities of Cebu.

“Amo lang ning tampu-tampu para maabot ug P50,000 ang kwarta (We will contribute so we can gather P50,000),” Comendador said.

Comendador said there are parties who are willing to contribute for the reward.

Comendador said he got positive feedback from his men when the plan was first discussed in a staff meeting.
