Rain in Cagayan but hot weather still in most of Luzon–Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — A diffused tail-end of a cold front affecting extreme Northern Luzon will bring rains in Cagayan Valley but hot weather will continue in other parts of Luzon, the state weather bureau said Friday.

Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas,  it added.

In Pagasa’s extended weather outlook, Metro Manila may experience a temperature of up to 36 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday.

Olongapo and Clark may reach a temperature of up to 35 degrees Celsius on Friday, while Tuguegarao City with up to 34 degrees Celsius.
