Ms. Mandaue bets face the media
TWELVE ladies competing for the Miss Mandaue 2013 title faced the Cebu media yesterday.
The candidates who are competing for this year’s Miss Mandaue crown also answered queries on current events.
Awarded as the media’s choice was candidate number 11 Steffi Rose Aberasturi. She is the sister of Miss Mandaue 2011, Crystalstar Aberasturi.
“I am pressured since my sister is the former Miss Mandaue. But she’s personally training me right now,” she said.
The younger Aberasturi is a second year tourism student at University of San Carlos.
‘I am Mandaue’ is this year’s pageant theme.
Organizers said that they wanted the ladies to embody the characteristics of a Mandauehanon so as to serve as examples to the rest of the community.
The ladies met the press at Plantation Bay, Mactan Island. The pageant night will be held at the City Heritage Plaza on May 7./Silliman University Intern Katrin Anne A. Arcala
