Suliva said a lot of job fairs were organized by the different local government units to help job seekers.

On May 1, Mandaue PESO will be supporting the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in their job fair in SM City Cebu.

The event will be simultaneously held in SM Supermalls nationwide to celebrate Labor Day.

The SM Supermalls job fair is in line with the government’s thrust for the private sector to actively participate in nation-building by providing employment to the people.

In SM City Cebu, the Labor Day job fair will start at 10 a.m. at the Cebu Trade Hall, while SM City Consolacion will hold its job search at the atrium.

There will be booths of SM Group of Companies, SM tenants and affiliates, various local companies whose staff will conduct job interviews and on-the-spot hiring.

SM affiliates joining the job fair in SM City Consolacion will include the SM Store, SM Supermarket, Watsons, BDO, among others.

In SM City Cebu, the first 10 applicants who will be hired-on-the-spot will each receive a free lunch gift certificate from Mang Inasal.
