CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna—The Laguna police on Thursday arrested 30 people in a series of raids on suspected havens for illegal drugs in San Pablo City.

CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) regional police director Chief Superintendent Benito Estipona said policemen raided suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) “flea markets” in Barangay (village) IIA and IIB between 5:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Of the 30 people arrested, five were females under the age of 18, he said.

The police, armed with 10 search warrants, also recovered seven sachets of shabu worth P15,000, according to Estipona.
