More classrooms, day care centers for Cebu

New batch of classrooms will be repaired in Asturias, Tuburan, Bantayan, Tudela and Aloguinsan towns and Naga City.

The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) signed an agreement recently with the mayors of the beneficiary local government units (LGUs) and education officials for the project at the Eduardo Aboitiz Development Studies Center.

RAFI, through its school rehabilitation program, will rehabilitate 65 classrooms of 20 schools in the beneficiary LGUs.

The agreement also covers the construction of nine day care centers — three each for the municipalities of Aloguinsan, Tudela and Bantayan — through RAFI’s Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund.
