7 hurt as passenger bus hits rear of truck on SLEX, says official

MANILA, Philippines—Seven people were injured when a passenger bus hit the rear of a 10-wheeler truck along the South Luzon Expressway early Wednesday.

Rona Saburin of SLEX Traffic control said the incident at the southbound lane on Southwoods Ecocentrum in Binan, Laguna happened around 6:10 a.m.

Saburin said the RRCG bus rammed the rear of the 10-wheeler truck loaded with sand.

A radio report said at least seven passengers from the bus were injured, including its conductor.

Traffic in the area was heavy following the accident but normalized after the two vehicles were taken out of the area at 8:49 a.m., SLEX said.
