YLAC, Eagles share lead

THE Young Lawyers Association of Cebu (YLAC) rapped defending champion Pañeros, 71-52, while the Eagles drubbed Grand Slam winner Super Idols, 86-60, last Saturday. Both winners share the lead with 3-0, win-loss cards in the 10th IBP basketball tournament at the Capitol Parish gym.

Benjo Santiago and skipper Cris Ang led YLAC with 19 and 15 points, respectively while Rowell Juban paced Pañeros with 10 markers.

In the other game, the Eagles led from start to finish against Super Idols with Marven Miralles and Alvin Canta scoring 17 each. Benjo Macion paced the Super Idols with 19 markers.

Earlier, the Dissenters of Commissioner Jonas Asis drubbed Primos of Mayor Mike Rama, 73-46, for its first win in three outings while the latter remains winless. Al Limalima led the Dissenters with 22 points while Steve Colasito paced Primos with 10. Meanwhile, Titans nipped Pecandela Law Firm, 66-64, for its 2nd win in 3 games, while Pecandela dropped to 1-2.
