Mother, daughter die in Las Piñas fire

A 30-MINUTE fire that struck two houses in Las Piñas City claimed the lives of 72-year-old Daisy Sarmiento and daughter Janette, 32. Police said the blaze started in the house of the victims on Champaca Street, Castillo Subdivision, Barangay Almanza Uno at 2:30 p.m., Monday. Jaymee T. Gamil

 

Old feud leads to shooting in Manila
