NLEX vs Fruitas
THE NLEX Road Warriors try to continue their winning ways today when they battle the Fruitas Shakers in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the JCSGO Gym in Quezon City.
In the other games, the skidding Hog’s Breath battles the struggling Cagayan Valley at 10 a.m. while the winless Informatics takes on the unpredictable Big Chill at 2 p.m.
The Rising Suns (3-4) and the Superchargers (3-4) try to avoid another loss to stay in contention for a playoff berth. Cagayan Valley is on a three-game skid while Big Chill has lost three of four.
The Icons (0-6) and the Razorbacks (1-5) are out of the running.
But the Road Warriors are truly in the thick of things in spite losing their first two games of the tournament. NLEX [4-2] is currently mired in three-team logjam with Fruitas and idle EA Regens is at third place. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
