TWO men were killed in separate shooting incidents in northern parts of Cebu.
Alwin Siacor, 28, was shot several times while he was waiting for his companion along a road in barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion town past 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said Siacor was standing at the side of the road while waiting for his friend, Cesario Tabotabo, 36, who was buying cigarettes from a store.
Chief Insp. Marlon Gumabao said they received reports that Siacor was previously jailed for a theft case.
Police recovered 14 empty shells of unknown caliber, two packs of suspected shabu and a cellphone from the victim’s possession.
In barangay Tuburan Sur, Danao City, a 33-year-old trisikad driver was shot dead by unidentified assailants in front of his house past 7 p.m. Wednesday.
