DIGOS CITY – Police authorities here on Saturday announced the arrest of three persons – who were suspected of having pulled off robberies targeting Internet cafes here.
In a report to the Davao del Sur police headquarters, the city police identified the suspects as Eddie Deocampo, 41, his 18-year old son – whose name was not provided – ; and his younger brother Richard Deocampo, 38.
The city police said the Deocampos were arrested inside a bar on Wednesday here following reports they were armed.
The suspects yielded two caliber .38 revolver, the report added.
During police lineup, an Internet cafe attendant recognized Deocampo’s 18-year old son as the same man – who went inside the cafe – shortly before the April 12 robbery of the establishment he was tending.
The Internet cafe attendant also said he recognized one of the handguns as the same weapon used by one of the two men who robbed the establishment he was tending.
