Limpangog sinks 12 treys in E-League All Star game
LOURENZ Limpangog of the defending champions Teletech Titans caught fire from the three-point land to lead the Cebu All-Stars to a one-sided 114-70 win over the Asia All-Stars in the 2011 Powerade E-League All-Star Game last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
Limpangog finished with a league-record of 12 three-pointers en route to tallying an eye-popping 46 points that keyed Cebu All-Stars easy win in the gathering of the league’s top players.
Limpangog also collared 10 rebounds, allowing him to win the prestigious All-Star Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Roderick Mangubat led Asia All-Stars with 17 markers.
In the shooting competitions, Kristian Tapic totaled 13 points in the final round to bag his second straight three-point shootout crown.
Louie Ceasar Arroyo and Sylvester Millevo of Stream Blue Devils ruled the two-ball shootout.
