Non-working holiday for Lapu’s Kadaugan sa Mactan

MALACAÑANG declared this Saturday, April 27, as a special non-working day for Lapu-Lapu City.

Proclamation No. 563 dated last March 13 declared that April 27 marks the celebration of the Kadaugan sa Mactan (Victory in Mactan) as a cultural and historical event in Lapu-Lapu City.

Private companies that require their employees to work on that day will receive double pay and additional pay after regular working hours. Correspondent Norman V. Mendoza
