Scavenger dies in road mishap
A SCAVENGER was killed after he was hit by a car while he was crossing a road in Cebu City at dawn yesterday.
The victim, believed to be between 50 and 60 years old, was not immediately identified, police said.
Cheryl Seguisabal, 34, driver of the Isuzu Trooper with plate number GMR-101, surrendered to traffic division of the Cebu City Police Office police after the incident.

The scavenger was pushing a cart while trying to cross Salvador Street when he was hit by the car, PO3 Edgardo Becoy said.
The victim was brought to the Cebu City Medical Center where he was declared dead by the attending doctor./Correspondent Tweeny M. Malinao
