The 6-foot-5 forward joins fellow reinforcement Steve Akomo on a Green Lancer team that is hungry for redemption after losing in the Cesafi finals last year. Though several key players have exhausted their eligibility, a few pillars remain led by lefty guard John Abad.

Following that game will be the tiff between the Raphael Sports Bar-University of San Jose-Recoletos, which will now be led by James Regalado and Matthew Parker, and the Lion Tiger Katol-University of Southern Philippines Foundation, a squad looking for its identity especially with the offseason loss of ace guard James Ferraren who tore his ACL. The third game features the San Marino Corned Tuna-Cebu Institute of Technology-University and the Cebu Landmasters-University of San Carlos. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
