BULUAN, Philippines — President Benigno Aquino III and six Team PNoy senatorial bets on Friday joined the proclamation rally here of administration candidates led by Governor Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu.
Aquino arrived at the Peace Center Compound in Barangay Poblacion shortly after 2 p.m. along with Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Governor Mujiv Hataman, among others.
Only four senatorial bets were present when the President arrived in the venue and they were Senator Loren Legarda, Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, former Representative Risa Hontiveros, and Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV.
Former Senator Ramon “Jun” Magsaysay and Aurora Representative Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara also came and gave their respective speeches but left long before the President showed up.
Mangudadatu estimated that the crowd who gathered for their proclamation rally was from 50,000 to 70,000.
