Fire hits clothes shop in Manila

MANILA, Philippines–Fire gutted a 4-story commercial establishment in Manila early Friday, an officer said.

Fire Officer 3 Oliver Sison said the fire hit a garment shop on Reina Rehente Street in Recto, Manila at 8:47 a.m.

The fire reached fourth alarm but was put out at 11:11 a.m.

A radio report said the incident caused heavy traffic on C.M. Recto Avenue and Jose Abad Santos Street. Jamie Marie Elona
