March is a graduation month where students are all eager to receive the proof of their success, moving closer to the promise of good life and realization of their dream.
TMX Philippines Inc. have taken the time for the realization of these dreams by honoring the “cream of the crop” with a “time for excellence” (Timex).
Last March, TMX Philippines corporate social responsibility (CSR) team headed by Paterno Niñal Jr., with the support of its president and general manager Bob Oliver, attended the commencement exercises of the Cebu City Task Force on Street Children (CCTFSC) and Pajo and Looc public elementary schools in Lapu-Lapu City.
Looc and Pajo elementary schools are among the adopted schools of TMX Philippines.
The schools benefited from the CSR programs of TMX Philippines, such as the provisions of educational items, drinking facilities, clinic, electricity, library and the renovation of classrooms.
Also, teachers are granted educational materials and references to aid them in teaching.
In recognition of the schools quest for excellence, TMX Philippines awarded the first honors from grades 2 to 6 with TMX watches.
TMX also provided medals to the students with scholastic achievements and to the winners of regional and national Math and Science contest.
Another beneficiary of TMX Philippines, CCTFSC provides protection and care to every street child in Cebu.
Timex watches were awarded to students who ranked first, second and third of the graduating class from elementary, high school and college of the agency.
