CEBU’s Chaine Des Rotisseurs shared a table with the almost 200 children during a feeding program headed by Bailli Amparito Lhuillier together with other officers and donors.
Games, fun and laughter brimmed during a program in the afternoon of Feb. 23 at the Par-ian Drop-in Center. Bags, school supplies, basic commodities and other goods were also distrbuted to the children.
Sharing light moments with the kids were socialites Teresin Mendezona (Vice Conseiller Gastronomique), Winglip Chang (Vice Conseiller Culinaire), Al Evangelio (Charge de Press), Dr. Vivina Yrastorza (Vice Chancelier Argentier), Nestor Alonso (Vice Charge de Mission), David Sharpe (OMGD) Marguerite Lhuillier, Carmen Campbell and Aida Patana.
“Seeing the kids enjoy the food and perform for us is a joy forever. We will continue this mission for as long as the Chaine Des Rotisseurs is active in Cebu,” Dr. Amparito Lhuillier said.
Chaine Des Rotisseurs is an international gastronomic society devoted to the promotion of fine dining and the camaraderie and pleasures of the table.
The international gourmet organization’s advocacy of reaching out to the less fortunate children has been going on for five years already.
The event was made possible due to the help of M Lhuillier Financial Services, Derek Dytian, Plantation Bay Resort & Spa, Radisson Blu Hotel, Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Marco Polo Plaza Hotel and the assistance of Cebu City social workers.
