MAN SHOT
A 25-YEAR-OLD man was shot and wounded allegedly by his neighbor in barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion town, northern Cebu.
Jeferson Ardiente, 25, remained in a critical condition at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) in Cebu City with a gunshot wound in the neck..
The victim was walking along a road at dawn yesterday when he was attacked.
Police said the alleged assailant was identified as a certain Elmer alias Pahak. The suspect had two still-unidentified cohorts.
Police are still investigating what triggered the attack.

BALAMBAN SUICIDE
A 25-YEAR-OLD man was found hanging dead from a tree in barangay Sta. Cruz, Balamban town, southwest Cebu.
The victim, Ernesto Dumdum, had been suffering from nervous breakdown which may have drove him to commit suicide.
Dumdum was found by her younger brother around 5 a.m. Thursday suspended from a Balite tree with a nylon rope tied around his neck.
