PNP mum on mayor’s charge

Chief Supt. Marcelo Garbo, chief of Police Regional Office 7 denied the allegation of Dumanjug mayor Nelson Garcia and will not investigate his claims regarding the use of police personnel unless a formal complaint is filed.

“We will check, maybe they are not used to getting checked, because before, the Garcias may be used to lording over there,” Garbo said.

He also denied ordering stricter checks on supporters of Garcia.

He further said that the PNP is strictly implementing the no guns and no goons in the entire region.
