PA STABS SON
A FATHER stabbed his 30-year-old son after they had a fistfight on Tuesday night in barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
Romeo Mondido Sr., 55, fled after the incident.
Police said Mondido and his son, Romeo Jr., both habal-habal drivers, have been at odds after the father left his family for another woman.
Lyndon Madula, 45, uncle of Romeo Jr., said he and his nephew was having a drinking session in the victim’s house when Romeo Sr. arrived.
Police said Romeo Jr. confronted his father, who decided to leave but he was blocked by his son. A fistfight ensued between them until Romeo Sr. managed to grab a sharp object and stabbed his son./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
FARMER HACKED
A FARMER was hacked and wounded by his neighbor in barangay Mompeller, Argao town, southern Cebu.
Miguel Villamor, 49, sustained two hack wounds in the head.
Police said the victim was drinking with friends in his younger brother’s house on Tuesday afternoon when Federico Antiga, also a farmer, arrived.
Police said a drunk Villamor suddenly punched Antiga, who retaliated by hacking Villamor in the head with a sickle.
