Man dies of H7N9 bird flu in China—state media

SHANGHAI—A man in China’s eastern province of Zhejiang had died of a new strain of bird flu, state media said Wednesday, bringing the total number of deaths attributed to the H7N9 virus to three.

He was one of two more H7N9 avian influenza infections reported in Zhejiang, the official Xinhua news agency said citing local authorities, bringing the total number of cases to nine.
